Sacred Space is not limited to places of worship or the majesty of nature. Our gardens, homes, and workplaces can become sacred spaces. A sacred space is one that is deemed as different from the everyday. It is a space where we feel safe, secure, loved and nurtured. It is a place where we can truly be ourselves so that we can become the person who lives the life we were meant to live on this earth.

Sacred Spaces are dedicated to a holy, or holistic, intention or purpose. The root of the word whole is the same as heal. It means to be complete. Sacred space allows us to be our complete self, so that we are at peace with our life.

Linda works with individuals and groups to create sacred spaces that nurture and support body, mind, heart and soul though various traditions and methods that honor the specifics of each person’s own traditions and place. These spaces are gardens, individual rooms, homes and workspaces. Linda was honored to give her presentation titled Creating Sacred Space at Christ Church Cathedral’s Art & Soul Café in downtown St. Louis in September 2005.
